The Fujica 35 Auto M is a 35mm camera. It is a rangefinder camera. Fuji produced them from 1962 to 1968. The 35 mm camera comes with a fixed lens. The Fujinon-R 47mm 1:2.8 can be used with 35,5 mm filters. You have to focus the lens manually. The built-in rangefinder helps you to focus.
The built-in selenium exposure meter makes it easier to measure exposure. It is designed for an ISO range from 5 to 200. The Fujica 35 Auto M has automatic exposure control. The camera sets the correct aperture according to the exposure time selected by the photographer. There is an exposure compensation of +/- 1 EV.
The camera comes with a Bulb setting option. The use of a flash is possible via the PC flash socket. The Fujica is equipped with a cable release connector.
Films for the Fujica 35 Auto M
The Fujica 35 Auto M is designed for the 35mm format. 35mm films are still easy to get today and are developed by most photo laboratories. A 35mm film for color pictures is the Agfaphoto Vista 200*. A possible black and white film is the Ilford Delta 100*.
The color film is processed in the C-41 process. This development process is offered by most laboratories. At this size, a film (135-36) will usually fit at least 36 photos.
