The instant camera comes with a 75 mm standard lens. This has a closest focusing distance of one meter and a maximum aperture of f/11. The focus is adjusted in three steps by turning. The lenses of the Diana Instant Square can be exchanged. You can use the different lenses of the Diana F+.

The Instant Square camera has no automatic exposure control and is therefore a little more complicated to use than other cameras of this type. The aperture can be chosen between f/11 (cloudy), f/19 (partly cloudy), f/32 (sunny) and f/150 (pinhole). The shutter speed can be set between 1/100 second and bulb mode.

As with the Diana F+, a proprietary flash can be used with the camera. However, there is an adapter for the use of hot shoe flashes.

The dimensions of the Diana Instant Square Adriano are according to the manual to follow 14 x 11,5 x 9,8 cm. Four AAA batteries (eBay / Amazon*) provide the power supply.

Films for the Diana Instant Square Adriano

The Diana Instant Square Adriano is designed for the Instax Square format. Fujifilm has been producing instant films for this format since 2017. The color film for this format is Instax Square Film*.

A picture has a size of 6.2 by 6.2 cm and is surrounded by a white frame. The dimensions of the complete picture are 8.6 by 7.2 cm. The frame around the pictures is writable, for example with a felt-tip pen or permanent marker.

The film format reminds a little on the Polaroid 600 pictures, but is clearly smaller than the film format of the instant picture pioneer from America.
