The BKIFI Hearts color negative film is distributed by Brooklyn Instant Film Initiative (BKIFI), an American supplier of film stock. However, the film is produced by a different company.
Color images of stories and moments can be captured with BKIFI Hearts film. The film speed of ISO 400, as stated in the datasheet, is ideal for snapshots in most situations.
The photo film is an effect film, which has a special feature due to its pre-exposure with small hearts. These colorful hearts are reproduced in the later images.
Developing the film
The developed film must be processed in the C-41 process after it is full. In Germany, most laboratories offer development in C-41 chemistry. The C-41 color negative process is standardized. As a result of developing the film, the captured images are obtained in the form of film strips.
In addition to analog development of images, many developing labs also offer the option to make prints of the images, or perform digitization of the images.
Formats
BKIFI Hearts film is available exclusively for 35mm cameras and accommodates 36 exposures per roll of film. There are a variety of cameras suitable for 35mm format, and well-known manufacturers such as Porst, Pentax, and Minolta have produced such cameras.
Storage
Storage of analog film stock can have a significant impact on the subsequent quality of the photographs. It is recommended that unexposed film stock be stored in a cool, dry place to prevent spoilage or deterioration. To avoid long-term storage, exposed film should be developed promptly. Proper storage can help ensure that photos are of high quality later.
