The Fujifilm Instax Mini EXPO 25 is an instant film specially developed for the Instax Mini format and pays homage to the 2025 World’s Fair. This film is produced by Fujifilm, a renowned company in the field of photography. It is sold in Japan, where the exhibition is also taking place (Osaka).
In addition to the film, an edition of the Instax Mini 12 and Instax Mini Link 2 printers was introduced in 2024.
Information about the film
The size of an Instax Mini image is approximately that of a debit card, with the actual image measuring 6.2 x 4.6 cm and surrounded by a characteristic frame that gives the image a nostalgic touch.
In this case, the frames around the pictures are printed with EXPO motifs. For example, there are illustrations of the mascot Myaku Myaku on the borders.
After the camera is triggered, the image is ejected and development begins. Within a short time, usually less than a minute, the photo is ready and can be viewed, shared or given as a gift. This immediate and tangible aspect of instant photography makes it particularly attractive to those who want to capture and share the moment without relying on digital technologies.
This instant film is primarily designed for cameras in the Fujifilm Instax Mini series, a range of compact and easy-to-use instant cameras that have enjoyed great popularity.
In addition, the film can also be used in other cameras that support the Instax Mini format, such as the Leica Sofort, a high-quality instant camera, or the LomoInstant from Lomography, known for its experimental and creative possibilities.
The film cassette contains ten unexposed images, each of which is developed individually. There are two cassettes in one pack.
