The Silberra PAN200 is a black and white film offered by the Silberra brand from Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is believed that the film stock was manufactured by Agfa.
Another product on the market is the Silberra ULTIMA200, which has the same emulsion as its counterpart, but uses a thinner base material.
Black and white images can be made with the Silberra PAN200 because the emulsion is panchromatically sensitized and has a specified film speed of ISO 200. These properties make the film suitable for many situations, even in lower light conditions.
The fine-grained structure of the Silberra film stock provides a wide tonal range and medium contrast. The emulsion consists of two layers and is particularly well suited for daylight photography such as street photography, portrait photography and architectural photography.
Developing the film
For successful development of Silberra PAN200, an adequate black and white developer is essential. Photo development can be carried out both in specialized photo laboratories and with appropriate equipment at home. When developing film, the choice of film developer plays a crucial role in the final result.

Calculation of the development solution
How much development solution do you need?
Source
There are no exact development instructions from the manufacturer for every combination of PAN200 film and film developer. Nevertheless, to achieve optimal results, it is recommended to develop test strips with different settings. After developing the film, you will receive film strips with the captured photos.
It is possible to use the images either in analog form as prints or by scanning them digitally. Several developing laboratories offer the service of directly creating prints in various sizes.
Digitization
Digitization of images can be done using a scanner by scanning the film strips. There is both the option to use services of photo labs to digitize negatives, and to purchase a scanner for personal use. The digitized results can be used in various formats, either digital or print.
Formats of the Silberra PAN200
Manufacturers such as Porst, Canon, Lomography, Olympus and Fujifilm offer models for 35mm format, such as the PAN200. 36 images fit on a film of normal image size.
Storage
Optimal storage of unexposed material is essential to ensure that the quality of subsequent photographs is maintained and changes are avoided.
For best results, the Silberra PAN 200 should be stored in a cool and dry place. It is recommended to develop the film promptly after exposure to avoid possible loss of quality.
