The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film The Mandalorian Edition. It is a limited edition of the Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film. The film is produced by Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands.
This edition is a highlight for Star Wars fans. The frames around the pictures are printed with different colour gradients. The underside is decorated with a motif from “The Mandalorian” series. A special feature of this edition are the specially designed darkslides. They protect the film material from light and are ejected when inserted in the camera.
The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film The Mandalorian Edition was developed for modern Polaroid i-Type cameras. The film format developed by The Impossible Project is based on the 600 film format and does away with the battery in the film pack, relying on a power source in the camera.
An instant picture with the film has a size of 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The actual picture taken is square and surrounded by a frame. After the image is ejected, development begins. From the time the image is ejected, it takes about 10 minutes to get the finished image.
Film format
The film can be used in all Polaroid i-Type cameras. An example is the Polaroid OneStep 2. This film cannot be used in the old Polaroid cameras. The individual pictures are in a plastic film cassette. Eight pictures can be taken with one pack.
