The Wittner Chrome 200D is a slide film. The color film that is developed in the E6 process comes from Wittner Cinetec. Wittner is a company from Germany that offers almost everything for the analog filmmaker, for example Super 8 films. However, the Wittner Chrome 200D is also suitable for photographers.
Inside it is the Aviphot Chrome 200 PE1, made by Agfa-Gevaert and also used in the Rollei Digibase CR 200. The film is cast on a clear polyester base and is based on the Agfachrome RSX-II 200.
It is currently only available for 35mm cameras, apart from filmmaker formats, by the meter or in cartridges (36 frames).
Sample photos
The last three pictures were taken with the Olympus OM-2. At the time the picture was taken, the film stock had already expired eight years. The film was developed in the E6 process.
