The Praktica L2 is a single lens reflex camera. It was produced by Pentacon between 1975 and 1980.
The lenses of the Praktica L2 can be exchanged. This is possible trough the M42 lens mount. The Praktica L2 does not provide an autofocus function. The focus is set manually.
The exposure must be measured externally. The 35mm camera does not have a built-in exposure meter. The desired f-stop number as well as the shutter speed can be set by the user. The 35mm camera has a bulb mode. With the Bulb setting, it stays open as long as the photographer holds the shutter button down. An external strobe or a flash unit can be connected to the Hot Shoe.
