The Porst reflex CX6 comes with interchangeable lenses. Lenses with an M42 thread can be used. In most cases, the Pentaflex Auto Color 1.8/50 mm is found on the camera. There is no autofocus function on the SLR camera. The focus is set manually.

The Porst reflex CX6 has a built-in light meter. The light meter is built in such a way that it can measure the exposure through the camera’s lens. The desired shutter speed can be set manually. The aperture is also freely selectable. The 35 mm camera has a bulb mode. An external flash unit can be connected via hot shoe.

Films for the Porst reflex CX6

Nothing works for the Porst reflex CX6 without photo films. More precisely, the camera needs 35mm films. The 35mm format is very common, so even today there are some manufacturers and many developing laboratories. Possible films for the SLR camera are the Fujifilm Superia 200* for color photos and the Ilford XP2 Super* for B&W images. Both films deliver solid results and can be used flexibly in everyday life.

The Porst reflex CX6 has a thread for a tripod on the bottom and a connection for a cable release. In addition, there is a self-timer.

The weight of the camera is 550 grams. The camera requires a VARTA V 625 battery (eBay / Amazon*).

The Porst reflex CX6 is only available used. The value of a used camera depends on the condition and functionality of the specimen.
