The Polaroid TimeZero SX-70 AutoFocus is an instant camera. It was built by the American instant picture company.

The Land Camera comes with a fixed lens. The focal length of the lens is 116 mm. The maximum aperture is f/8. To focus the lens, the camera has an autofocus system built into it. The distance to the subject is measured by sonar waves. The closest focusing distance is 26.4 cm.

The Polaroid TimeZero SX-70 AutoFocus has a built-in light meter. The Polaroid TimeZero SX-70 AutoFocus has an automatic exposure. The photographer cannot select aperture and exposure time. A small influence can be made on the settings by using the light/dark control.

A flash can be used via the flash bar socket. The power required for the camera comes from the battery in the film pack. A thread for a tripod is available.

The Polaroid TimeZero SX-70 AutoFocus is designed for the SX-70 format. Polaroid has stopped producing films for this format.

Fortunately, the films are now available. Fresh films are produced in the Netherlands and sold under the “Polaroid Originals” brand.

As a photographer, you have the choice between film for black and white pictures and film for colour pictures. The current colour film is the Polaroid Color Film for SX-70* and the Polaroid B&W Film for SX-70* for monochrome photos.

There are eight unexposed images in one package. These are in a film cassette on plastic. Below the pictures is the battery for the power supply of the instant camera.

Production of the Polaroid TimeZero SX-70 AutoFocus has been discontinued. Today you can only find it used. The state of preservation and the functionality of the camera determine its price.
