Credit Saison is a Japanese financial company and hangs with the Mizuho Financial Group. The group issues payment cards under the Saison Card umbrella.

This ease of entry means that the camera can be used by anyone and is suitable for many situations. It is a good choice for parties. For weddings, the camera is also a lot of fun. The camera also looks great on vacation.

It is not possible to change the basic exposure settings. Aperture and shutter speed, for instance, cannot be changed by the user. It is not possible to change the lens. It has a fixed focal length. There is no zoom function. Instead, you simply have to move the camera closer to the object to be photographed. For razor-sharp pictures, a minimum distance of 60 cm must be observed.

Of course, you will also find a built-in flash on the instant camera. It switches on automatically when taking a picture. Due to the small aperture, the use of the flash is particularly useful indoors.

Films for the Polaroid Season Card

If you want to use the Polaroid instant camera, you need the instant films that go with it. Due to various occurrences, the American company Polaroid has ceased film production. A Dutch company develops and manufactures suitable films for the 600 format again.

A color film and a black-and-white film can be purchased over the Internet. The suitable color film is the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. All those who prefer monochrome photos opt for the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*. In tests, both can often do well and get a high rating score.

One pack contains eight images. Under no circumstances should the photosensitive material come into contact with light. The ideal circumstances for storage are in a cool and dark place.

Since the development of the film format, one image is 10.8 x 8.8 cm in size. An area of 7.7 by 7.7 cm is provided for the actual image. The rest of the Polaroid image is filled by a white area. However, there are also Polaroid films with colorful frames.

Caution. Fujifilm instant films are unsuitable for the Polaroid camera.

Batteries

What batteries are needed for the Polaroid camera? The power supply of the camera is provided by a battery in the film cassette. It contains enough power for all unexposed images in the film cassette. Also when using the flash. So with every film change, the battery is also replaced. Another battery is not required for the instant camera.

When the film is empty, do not dispose of the film cassette or battery in the household waste. It is best to take the plastic cassette or battery to an appropriate local drop-off location.

Photoguide for Polaroid Season Card

How to take pictures with the instant camera? An introductory guide to using the photo camera.

The first step is to load the film. To do this, slide the slider on the side forward so that the film door opens. Then insert the film cassette. The flap can then be closed again. The next operation is performed automatically by the camera. It removes the protective film from the film.

The camera is now ready to take the desired picture. To do this, aim the camera at the subject and press the shutter release button. Immediately after the picture is taken, it is ejected.
