The Polaroid CoolCam is a variant of the Polaroid One Step Flash. The instant camera has the same range of functions as the One Step Flash, but differs in color.
The plastic body of the camera is black. The front is mainly a flashy yellow and pink. The shutter button is also yellow.
Films for the instant camera
The camera is equipped with a built-in flash and is designed for the Polaroid 600 format. The production of these instant films was discontinued by Polaroid.
Meanwhile, The Impossible Project produces films for this format again and also sells them again under the rainbow logo of the photo pioneer from the USA. For example, the Polaroid Color Film for 600* for color shots or the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* for black and white shots.
Batteries
What kind of batteries are needed for the instant camera? The camera is powered by a battery located inside the film cassette. This battery provides enough power to operate the camera technology and flash. Every time you change the film, the battery is also changed, so no additional battery is needed. It is important to note that the film cassette, including the battery, should not be disposed of with household waste. It is best to take the plastic cassette or battery to an appropriate local drop-off location.
The Polaroid CoolCam 600
The Polaroid CoolCam 600 has the same features as the Polaroid CoolCam or One Step Flash. It comes in a red and black and light gray and pink version.
The Polaroid CoolCam 600 Closeup
The Polaroid CoolCam 600 Closeup is identical in features to the One Step Flash Closeup. The instant camera with closeup lens comes in yellow-black, red-black and light gray-pink.
