The Polaroid Queen Clubs is designed for use with Polaroid 600 format film. Nowadays, “Impossible” films are used for new shots, which have fortunately been sold again under the original brand of the US photography pioneer since 2020. For color results, the Polaroid Color Film for 600* is recommended, and for black and white images, the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* is available.

The question arises: How do you use this instant camera correctly? Below is a concise guide to using the Polaroid camera. The first step is to load the required instant film. To do this, unlock the film compartment by pushing the side slider on the camera body forward. The film cassette can then be pushed into the designated opening. The film compartment is then carefully closed again.
A light-tight cardboard box, which until this point protected the film from light, is now automatically ejected by the internal mechanism. The camera is now ready to shoot. Pressing the shutter button on the side is enough to take the picture.
An integrated motor then extrudes the exposed image. Immediately afterwards, the chemical process begins, making the image visible. After just a few minutes, the image development is complete, and the finished photo is ready to be viewed.
To achieve optimal image results, there are some tips to keep in mind when using instant cameras. For example, it’s important to avoid shocks or excessive movement of the camera during the photo development phase. The ambient temperature also has an influence: In cooler environments, the development time is longer, and the photo requires more time to fully unfold. After the image has been output from the camera, it is advisable to protect it from direct sunlight or excessive heat, as these factors can negatively affect image quality.
The developed photo should ideally be stored in a cool, dry place to ensure its longevity.
