Polaroid 600 Cinnamoroll

The Polaroid 600 Cinnamoroll is an instant camera. It was launched by Retrospekt in November 2024.

This camera model is technically based on the original Polaroid One Step Flash. Before its exterior redesign, it underwent a comprehensive overhaul and functional testing. As the product name suggests, the design incorporates elements of Cinnamoroll. This is another collaboration between Retrospekt and the Japanese company Sanrio, the creator of Hello Kitty.

Instant Camera Edition Design

This Polaroid camera has a playful and friendly appearance. It is predominantly in soft light blue and white. The front features an image of Cinnamoroll sitting on a cloud surrounded by a rainbow. Above the lens, the “Polaroid” logo is emblazoned in blue, surrounded by small clouds and a yellow chick. The flash is located to the right.

The lower part of the camera, where the photos come out, is also light blue and bears the word “cinnamoroll” in a curved, white font. The remaining details of the camera, such as the shutter button and the shape of the body, are white.

Functionality of the Camera

The camera is equipped with a fixed focal length lens that does not offer a zoom function or manual focus adjustment. The exposure parameters are automatically determined by an integrated light meter; the light/dark slider on the front allows for minor adjustments.

The reduced setting options promote intuitive operation and allow users to take pictures independently after a brief orientation.

A built-in flash ensures adequate illumination for the images and is activated automatically. The necessary power for the camera and flash is provided by a battery in the film cassette, which is renewed every time the film is changed. No additional batteries are required for photography.

Film material for the Polaroid 600 Cinnamoroll

Film is not included with the instant camera; this must be purchased separately.

Suitable films for the Polaroid 600 Cinnamoroll are still available, both in black and white and color versions. The color film is available under the name Polaroid Color Film for 600*. The Polaroid B&W Film for 600* is intended for monochrome shots with this instant camera.

One film cassette contains material for eight pictures. Once the cassette is used up, the user must insert a new cassette. Film is not included in the purchase price. The development time for the pictures is between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the film type.
