The Lomo’Instant Panama is a special edition of the Lomo’Instant. The instant camera for the Instax format was introduced on 06/14/2017. The design is tropically inspired. The palm tree prints on the back and front of the instant camera stand out.
This Special Edition is also named after a place in the world. Panama is a country in Central America, bordering Costa Rica and Colombia. The country has about 4 million inhabitants, the capital is Panama City and the official language is Spanish.
Panama is certainly best known for the Panama Canal. It is the country’s main source of income and connects the Caribbean and Pacific Oceans.
The features of the Lomo’Instant Panama are similar to those of the other editions. So there are interchangeable lenses for the instant camera (depending on the scope of delivery directly included), it offers the possibility for multiple exposures and a bulb mode, comes with a mirror for selfies and has a built-in flash.
To take pictures with the Lomo’Instant Panama, you will need Fujifilm’s Instax Mini instant films. They are not included and must be purchased separately. Power is supplied to the camera by four AAA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). The batteries will last for a few shots. Of course, rechargeable AAA batteries can also be used.
The color film for this format is the Instax Mini Film*. There are 10 pictures in one cassette. Each image is about the size of a credit or business card. In addition to the color film, the Instax Mini Monochrome* is also available for taking monochrome pictures with the instant camera.
Besides the Lomo’Instant Panama, there are many other Special Editions of the instant camera, such as the Lomo’Instant Sanremo, Honolulu, Montenegro, Boston, Kyoto, Havana, Lake Tahoe, Marrakesh, Milano, Mumbai, Murano and Reykjavik.
