The Konstruktor Transparent Collector’s Edition is a version of the Konstruktor. This edition was presented by Lomography in November 2013.
Like the normal version, it is an SLR. However, the Konstruktor Transparent has a transparent body instead of a black one, hence the name. For this reason, taking pictures with it makes little sense. It is therefore only suitable as a collector’s and decorative object or to take a closer look at the inside of a camera.

FAQ about the Konstruktor Transparent
Is the Transparent Collector’s Edition a real camera I can take pictures with?
While technically a single-lens reflex camera like the standard Konstruktor, its transparent casing makes taking good photos difficult. It's more of a collector's item or educational tool to see the inner workings.
What makes this Konstruktor special compared to the regular one?
The main difference is its see-through body. Instead of the usual black casing, this edition lets you see all the internal mechanisms. This unique design is its defining feature.
When was this clear camera released?
Lomography introduced the Transparent Collector’s Edition in November 2013. It's a limited edition, making it a sought-after item for collectors.
Can I use this camera to take photos for my Instagram?
Because of its transparent design, the image quality will likely be poor. It's not ideal for everyday photography. It's better suited as a display piece or a learning aid.
What type of camera is the Konstruktor Transparent Collector's Edition?
It's a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera. However, its functionality is greatly limited due to its design. The transparent body primarily serves aesthetic purposes.
