Films for the Konica U-mini
The user manual recommends using 35mm film for the Konica U-mini. Despite the introduction of new film formats, the 35mm format remains popular, which is why some manufacturers continue to produce films for this format.
For color photography with this camera, the film Kodak Gold 200* is recommended. For black and white shots, the use of Ilford Delta 400* is advisable. In addition, there are various other manufacturers of film material for the 35mm format that are compatible with the camera.
The aforementioned color film is a color negative film that is developed using the C-41 process. The majority of photo labs offer development using the C-41 process. In Germany, numerous drugstores offer development of 35mm color films.
The camera’s shooting area measures 24 mm by 36 mm. Approximately 36 shots fit into this size on a standard 35mm film. The camera automatically advances the film after each shot. The motor speed is about one frame per second to allow for a quick shooting sequence.
