Konica JX 100 is a color negative film. It was sold under the brand of the Japanese company.

The JX 100 is a film for color photos. ISO 100 is the specified sensitivity of the material. It is thus well suited for areas of use with a lot of available light, and less suited for indoor or dark shots.

Developing the film

For development, the film must be processed in C-41 chemistry. Many photo labs offer development of color negative film.

Availability and alternatives

The JX 100 was available exclusively for the 35mm format. With one roll of the color film, you could press the camera shutter 36 times. A DX code was printed on the cartridge.

The Konica JX 100 is no longer in production and is therefore no longer available new. The Kodak Gold 200* could be an alternative solution for 35mm film. A current alternative for the 35mm format is the Kodak Gold 200*. For the medium format, the Kodak Ektar 100* would be a conceivable replacement.
