The Holga 120 CFN Green is a toy camera. The roll film camera was produced by Holga in Asia. It is a green colored model of the plastic camera.
The camera comes with a fixed lens. The focal length is fixed and is 60 mm. The largest aperture is f/8. Manual focus is required with the medium format camera. The Holga 120 CFN Green has four focus levels. The minimum distance to the subject must be 100 cm. Like the body, the lens of the camera is made of plastic.
The exposure is not measured by the camera. The setting options are limited. The Holga comes with a normal shutter speed. There is also a Bulb setting on the Holga 120 CFN Green. For blur-free photos, the medium format camera has a tripod thread.
Aperture settings include sunny and cloudy. The Holga is by no means a fast camera. Therefore, it should be used with sufficient light.
In low light conditions, the built-in flash can be used. The flash comes with built-in set of color filters. According to the instructions, the camera needs two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*) to operate the flash.
Films for the Holga 120 CFN Green
Needed for the Holga 120 CFN Green photo films. Used are films for the medium format. This type of films are still produced by some manufacturers. A color film for the medium format camera would be the Fujifilm PRO 400H*. A possible film for black and white images is the Ilford Delta 400*. Both films can be used to make beautiful Lomo images. For really crisp contrasts, a cross-developed slide film is a good choice.
The exposure area of the Holga 120 CFN Green is square (6×6). As a rule, twelve 6×6 images fit on a normal 120 roll film. The photographer has to manually advance to the next image. For this purpose, there is a wheel on the top of the camera. The current number of images can be seen through a window on the back.
