The Holga 120 CFN is a medium format camera. Unlike the Holga 120 N, a flash is built into the camera. CF stands for Color Flash.
With the help of a rotary switch on the top, three different color filters can be slid in front of the flash. This colors the flash and the subsequent photo in yellow, blue or red. In the fourth position, there is no filter. The flash can be turned on and off with a switch on the back.
The flash is powered by two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). For regular operation without the flash, the camera does not need a battery.
The rest of the features are identical to those of the Holga 120 N (eBay / Amazon*).
The lens of the camera cannot be changed and is also made of plastic. The focal length is cannot be changed and is 60 mm. The largest aperture is f/8. Focusing is facilitated by a built-in autofocus. The minimum distance to the subject is 100 cm. There is a choice of “Cloudy” and “Sunny” for the aperture settings.
There are also only two options for shutter speeds. N for a normal shutter speed and B for Bulb mode. In this mode, the film is exposed as long as the shutter button is pressed. To prevent image blur, the plastic camera has a thread for a tripod on the bottom.
