The Fujifilm Instax Mini Disney Frozen 2 is an instant film. It is a special edition of the Fujifilm Instax Mini film. It is manufactured by Fujifilm in Japan.
The film is an instant film for the Instax Mini instant format developed by Fuji. The size of a picture is about the same as a credit card. The captured image is 62 x 46 mm. The rest is the frame around the image.
After exposure, the image is ejected, spreading the chemistry for development over the image. Within a very short time, the image is then developed.
In this edition, the frames around the images are printed with motifs from the Disney movie Frozen 2.
Frozen 2 is an animated film from 2019 and the sequel to the first part released in 2013. Frozen II follows sisters Anna and Elsa, as well as an ice man, his reindeer and a snowman on their journey to the mythical enchanted forest to discover the origin of Elsa’s magical power. The film was a hit with audiences, grossing $1.450 billion worldwide and becoming the third highest-grossing film of 2019.
Film format
The film was developed for the Fujifilm Instax Mini cameras. In addition to Fujifilm’s instant cameras, it can also be used with the likes of the Leica Sofort and the Lomography LomoInstant. One pack of the film contains a cassette with ten instant images. The cassette has a plastic layer that protects the film from light and is ejected when inserted in the camera. Only when all the pictures have been taken may the camera be opened again.
A cassette with a normal Polaroid film contains the unexposed images and a disposable battery that serves as a power source for the camera. In contrast, Instax Mini films do not have a battery inside the cassette; instead, the camera requires its own power source, which can be a regular battery or a rechargeable battery.
