Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Colette

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Colette is an instant camera. It is a limited special edition of the Instax Mini 70.

The instant camera is in collaboration with Colette, a boutique from France. The design is customized according to the French company and is sold in their stores. In the past there were also some Colette Special Editions from Lomography.

In addition to the camera, the package includes a camera strap, batteries and instructions. The functions are identical to the normal Instax Mini 70. The matching Instax Mini Film* is needed to take pictures, this is not included and must be purchased separately.

Functions

The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 is an instant camera that is characterized by a number of features. The camera format allows the use of Fujifilm Instax Mini films, which are transported automatically. The pictures have a size of 62 mm x 46 mm. The lens has a focal length of 60 mm and the widest aperture is f/12.7. The camera’s closest focusing distance is 30 cm / 0.984 ft. The focus is automatic and is done by zone focus. The focus zones range from 0.3 m to 0.6 m, 0.6 m to 3 m and 3 m to infinity. The lens assembly consists of 2 elements in 2 groups.

The shutter speeds of the camera range from 1/400 s to 1/2 s and the exposure is controlled by a light meter. The exposure mode is program automatic with an exposure compensation of + 2/3 EV. The camera does not have manual exposure settings or date imprinting. The built-in flash has a range of 0.3 m – 2.7 m and a recharge time of about 7 seconds.

The camera has a tripod thread and a self-timer. Thus, the camera is wonderfully suitable for group pictures. There is a small mirror next to the lens. Selfies are no problem with the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Colette.

The power is supplied by 2x CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*) and the battery capacity is approximately 400 pictures. The dimensions of the camera are 9.92 x 11.37 x 5.32 cm (3.91 x 4.48 x 2.09 inches) and the weight is 281 grams. The camera is produced in China.
