Fujifilm Fujicolor Press 400 is a color negative film. This film, like the entire range of Fujicolor Press films, was aimed at press photographers and photo reporters. Today, Fujicolor Press 400 is no longer produced.
The Fujicolor Press 400 was equipped with the 4-color layer technology for the newly developed Advanced Photo System (APS). This technology was already used in the Fujicolor Reala.
This was to achieve vivid and accurate colors with fine-tuned skin tones and great tonal richness. And the whole thing should be possible in all lighting situations. Fujifilm also saw the Fujicolor Press 400 as an application for photographing sporting events.
The 35mm film was sold in a value pack with 20 rolls of film. It was developed in the C-41 process for color negative films. Besides it, there was also the Press 800 and Press 1600.
