The Fujica MF is a viewfinder camera. It was produced by Fuji and was a simple model of the photo giant. The camera is made of plastic and is intended for beginners and occasional photographers. This model was also sold under the name “Fujica PicPAL”. Besides a black version, they were also available in different colors and as Mickey Mouse Special Edition.
The camera comes with a fixed lens. The focus of the lens is fixed and cannot be changed.
The Fujica MF does not have a built-in light meter. You don’t need to do this either, as the setting options for this model are very limited. This makes it suitable for snapshots. The built-in flash provides sufficient light. The camera requires two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*) to power the flash.
Films for the Fujica MF
The Fujica MF takes pictures on 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced today. They can be developed in most photo laboratories. One option for b/w images is the Kodak T-Max 400*. A possible film for color pictures is the Kodak Ultramax 400*.
The 35 mm camera is only available in used condition. The condition and, if available, accessories determine the price of a used copy.
