The camera lens cannot be changed. The focal length is fixed and is 34 mm. The biggest aperture opening is f/4.5. You don not have to focus by hand with the Carena Top AF35M. The camera has an autofocus. To get sharp photos, you should not to be closer than 1,2 m.
The 35mm camera has an exposure meter. It was designed to work with films between ISO 100 and ISO 1000. The camera determines the correct film speed using the DX code. The aperture and shutter speed can be set by the Carena Top AF35M automatically. The built-in flash provides enough lighting.

The color film is a negative film and is processed in the C-41 development process. The C-41 process is standardized and is offered by most development laboratories.
36 pictures fit on a roll of 35mm film. A motor transports the film further and rewinds it back into the cartridge at the end of the roll.
