The Carena Lucky is a snapshot camera made of plastic. It was sold by Photo Porst in the 80s. The price for the camera including flash and film with development was just under 40 D-Mark at Christmas 1989.
The company Haking was probably responsible for the production. The country of manufacture is indicated as Hong Kong.
The camera comes with a fixed lens. The focal length is unchangeable as well as the focus and the aperture. An external flash can be triggered via the built-in hot shoe.
The dimensions of the 35mm camera are 11.5 x 7.5 x 4 cm. The camera weighs 115 grams with its plastic housing. Batteries are not needed for the camera.
Films for the Carena Lucky
Without photo films nothing runs with the Carena Lucky. More precisely, the camera needs 35mm films. Films of this format are still easy to get today and are also still developed. Nice 35mm films for color or black and white photography are the Agfaphoto Vista 400* and the Ilford Delta 100*. In general, using a film with a good exposure latitude makes sense.
