The Yashica T3 Super is a 35mm camera. It was produced by Kyocera for Yashica, who owned the Yashica brand at the time. The compact camera was also sold as the Kyocera TScope2.
The centerpiece of the Yashica T3 Super is the Carl Zeiss Tessar T* f2.8 35 mm lens. The fixed focal length has a maximum aperture of f/2.8 and a closest focusing distance of 50 cm.
The camera sets the focus automatically, just like the exposure time and aperture. The film is also advanced automatically. In low light conditions, the built-in flash provides enough light.
The Yashica T3 Super can expose all 35mm films (eBay / Amazon*) with a sensitivity between ISO 64 and ISO 3200. The camera determines the sensitivity by the DX coding of the cartridge. If this is not present or readable, the camera automatically selects an ISO of 100.
A good color film for the camera is the Kodak Gold 200*. The Ilford Delta 400* makes great black and white shots with the snapshot camera. The two films are produced by manufacturers with a good reputation and therefore deliver consistently good results.
Other features of the camera include a self-timer, a tripod socket, a continuous shooting function and a focus lock. In addition, the compact camera is splash-proof according to the manufacturer.
The T3 Super is powered by a 2CR5 6V battery (eBay / Amazon*). Which, according to Yashica, should last for 1500 shots with 50% flash.

Yashica T3 Super D
The Yashica T3 Super D is a variant of the T3. This one comes with the same features but has a databack. This allows the photographer to imprint the date and time directly into the image when shooting. The year goes up to the year 2019.
