The Yashica T4 Zoom is a snapshot camera built by Yashica as a 35mm camera to deliver beautiful images. Its functionality is identical to that of the Yashica T-Zoom.
Lens
The heart of the Yashica T4 Zoom is the integrated Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar T* lens with a focal length of 28 to 70 mm. Depending on the zoom level, the maximum aperture can vary between f/4.5 and f/8, with automatic focusing allowing a minimum distance of 50 cm to the subject. This allows photographers to capture their subjects in clear and sharp images.
Exposure
The camera also offers a range of automatic exposure settings that make taking photos easier. It can recognize and adjust a wide range of 35mm films with a sensitivity between ISO 50 and ISO 3200. If the film's DX code is not recognized or does not exist, the sensitivity will default to ISO 100. After shooting, the film is automatically transported, ready for the next frame.
Additional functionalities
Aside from the impressive technical aspects, the Yashica T4 Zoom offers additional features that enrich the photography process. These include a built-in flash, a long exposure mode and a self-timer. The camera also offers the option of exposing the current date directly onto the image, a function that is particularly appreciated for souvenir photos.

Movie options for the Yashica T4 Zoom
The Yashica T4 Zoom is specially designed for the use of 35mm films. Despite the digital revolution, 35mm film production continues and these can easily be developed at most external photo laboratories. Popular film options include the Kodak Gold 200* for color photography and the Ilford Delta 100* for black and white photography.
To develop your colored works, the C-41 process is used, which is available in most photo laboratories and large drugstore chains in Germany. Black and white films, on the other hand, are processed in a special developer such as Rodinal or XTOL.
