The Polaroid One600 Pro is an instant camera. It was introduced in the early 2000s. It is part of the last generation of Polaroid 600 cameras. The lens is fixed and cannot be changed. There is no zoom function. A minimum distance of 60 cm is required for sharp pictures. Aperture and shutter speed cannot be changed either. For this, there is a light/dark control on this model.
Of course, the camera cannot do without a built-in flash. The flash is triggered automatically when taking pictures. Especially in low-light situations, the flash is one of the most important functions. For portrait shots, there is a mode for avoiding red eyes when using the flash. The readiness of the flash is indicated by a small LED next to the shutter release.
A button on the back of the top of the housing can be used to turn on the self-timer. The self-timer has a lead time of 12 seconds.

Of course, films are also needed for the instant camera. The device manufacturer, Polaroid from the USA, has stopped the production of instant films. But do not worry, since the year 2010, films for the old 600 cameras are made available again. You can't use Fujifilm's films with the instant camera.

According to the standard, one photo measures 10.8 x 8.8 cm. On an area of 7.7 by 7.7 cm is the captured image. The rest of the area is filled with white. But there are also edition with colorful frames.
Batteries
Do you need batteries for the Polaroid One600 Pro? The power supply unit of the camera is a battery inside the film cassette. The disposable battery contains the necessary energy for the camera technology with flash. So changing the film also provides a new battery. No other batteries are necessary for the camera.
If the camera with film inside has not been used for a long time, the battery may have discharged. Of course, lacking sufficient power, the camera will no longer function. Simply changing the film with a new battery will solve the problem. Thus, a repair is not necessary.
