The Agfa Ultra 50 is a color negative film. Production was discontinued by AGFA. It was available for 35mm and medium format cameras. The 35mm film could be bought in cartridges with 24 or 36 frames.
The color film is processed in the C-41 process. The sensitivity is specified as ISO 50. What made the Agfa Ultra 50 stand out were its vibrant colors with high saturation.
There is no direct alternative for the Ultra 50. One possibility would be the Kodak Ektar 100*.

What a shame that AGFA decided to stop production of all its film manufacturing, the Agfa Ultra 50 was the best colour negative film ever made and i was so fortunate to have used a few rolls to record my Children as they were growing up,i have used so many other films and quite honestly they all disappoint ,why could not another third party company purchase under licence the same technology to continue with the legendary film.surely a sad day.
