Ricoh

Ricoh is a Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the manufacture of office equipment, which includes cameras. The company was founded in 1936 as Riken Kankoshi Co, Ltd. and initially focused on research and development of photocopiers and other office equipment. In the 1950s, the company began producing cameras and launched its first camera, the Ricoh 500, in 1955.

Over the years, Ricoh has continued to develop new cameras and has become one of the important Japanese manufacturers of camera. Thus, many cameras were produced for the 35mm format. These include some SLR cameras for the M42 mount and the Pentax K thread. But there were also many compact cameras of the Ricoh brand.

The Ricoh company still exists today. The focus is now strongly on products for offices, such as printers, projectors or technology for video telephony and industries, such as the printing industry.

However, Ricoh also offers cameras. So there are different digital cameras and also 360-degree panorama cameras.
