The Fujifilm Instax Wide Rainbow is an instant film from the Japanese company. It is an edition of the Instax Wide Film*.
As you can imagine, the frames in the edition are colored in different colors. The format of the film corresponds to the Instax Wide standard with an image size of 86 mm x 108 mm and an image area of 62 mm x 99 mm. The ISO sensitivity of 800 allows shooting in various lighting conditions, and the development time is approximately 90 seconds, depending on the ambient temperature. Of course, sensitivity only plays a minimal role, as most pictures are taken with flash in less light.
The film is compatible with all Fujifilm Instax Wide cameras, such as the Instax Wide 300 or the Lomo’Instant Wide. You cannot use the film in the old Polaroid cameras.
The unexposed images come in a plastic cassette. There are ten images in a cassette. After ten shots, when the frame counter shows 0, you have to put a new cassette in the camera.
The standout feature of the Instax Wide Rainbow Edition film is the colorful rainbow gradient on the frame. This gives each picture an individual character and makes it an eye-catcher.
