The Sprocket Rocket Teal 2.0 Edition was introduced in the summer of 2018. Seven years after the first presentation, a revision of the panoramic camera was presented.
The difference old edition are the silver buttons, these were previously held in black.
The functions of the Sprocket Rocket Teal 2.0 are still identical to the normal Sprocket Rocket. The scope of delivery of the 35mm camera has also remained the same.
The functions of the Sprocket Rocket camera
The Sprocket Rocket camera uses a super wide-angle lens to expose photographic film, including perforations. This camera can take about 18 pictures on a 36 frame 35mm film, which is about two normal shots.
The plastic lens of the Sprocket Rocket has a focal length of 30 mm and a maximum aperture of almost f/11 (f/10.8). The corners of the image are characteristic due to strong vignetting and decreasing sharpness.
For panorama shots, the camera offers two exposure times: 1/100 second and Bulb for long exposures. There is no shutter lock, so multiple exposures are possible by releasing the shutter several times. The film can be fast-forwarded and rewound at will. The camera has two distance settings: one for close-ups (0.6 meter to 1 meter) and one for everything else (1 meter to infinity).
To carry the camera comfortably, a strap can be attached by a screw with a handle that screws into the tripod thread. There is also a hot shoe to connect an external flash, as well as a thread for a tripod.
The development of the films
It is important to be careful not to cut the film when developing it, as this can result in cut images. It can be difficult to get prints from the Sprocket Rocket camera, as most labs do not make prints with the Sprockets on them. A good solution is to scan the images yourself and then send them to a lab to have them printed.

FAQ about the Sprocket Rocket Teal 2.0
What kind of lens does this camera have?
The Sprocket Rocket 2.0 uses a super wide-angle lens to capture the film including the sprocket holes. This allows for unique panoramic shots.
How many pictures can I take on one roll of 35mm film?
You can take approximately 18 pictures on a standard 36-exposure roll of 35mm film. This is because it's designed to capture panoramic images.
Does this little camera have any special features?
Yes, it has two shutter speeds: 1/100th of a second and bulb mode for long exposures. It also allows for multiple exposures as there's no shutter lock.
Can I use a flash with the camera?
Yes, the camera has a hot shoe for attaching an external flash. This is useful for shooting in low-light conditions.
How do I develop the film?
Be careful not to cut the film during development as this will ruin the photos. You might need to scan the film yourself to get prints as most labs don't handle sprocket holes.
