The Silberra Color 160 is a color negative film. The film is distributed by Silberra.
The Color 160 produces color images. The film speed is specified as ISO 160. However, it can also be exposed to ISO 80 or ISO 320. According to the manufacturer, it is characterized by its warm color reproduction, high resolution and beautiful grain.
Developing the film
The film is developed using the C-41 process. Most laboratories in Germany offer development in C-41 chemistry. The color negative process is standardized. Those who wish can also develop the color film themselves. The result of the development is the finished negatives.
Formats
Converted film is available for medium format and 35mm cameras. The 35mm film comes with 36 frames when using a normal camera. There is also a 24 frame version. The film stock is in recycled cartridges at this time. With a medium format 6×6 camera, 12 images fit on a roll of film. The film material is assembled by hand with recycled backing paper.
