The Samsung Fino 20S is a snapshot camera. The model was also available on the market under the name “Samsung Maxima 20S”.
The lens of the compact camera cannot be changed. It has a focal length of 30 mm. The aperture and shutter speed cannot be changed by the user.
The Samsung Fino 20S comes with a built-in flash. It is powered by two AA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). It is very easy to find this type of battery. Of course, you can also go for rechargeable ones.
Films for the Samsung Fino 20S
According to the user manual, the Samsung Fino 20S is designed for 35mm films. 35mm films are still produced by various manufacturers. The Fujifilm Superia 400* is recommended for this camera and Kodak T-Max 100* for black and white shots. Both films are an excellent choice.
Most photo labs offer the C-41 process as a common method for developing color film. In addition to development, it is also possible to have photographic prints made directly to quickly have the images in your hands. It is also possible to digitize the negatives and edit or archive them on the computer.
Unlike color film, black-and-white film requires a special development process that can vary from film to film. Professional photo labs typically offer black and white film development and have a variety of developers to choose from. Alternatively, it is possible to do the development yourself, which gives you control over the development process and therefore better results.
The exposure area of the Samsung Fino 20S is 24 mm x 36 mm. With the size of the exposure area, a normal film (135-36) usually holds 36 photos. The film is automatically rewound by the camera.
