Rossmann Einwegkamera

The Rossmann disposable camera is a camera from Rossmann. It is sold under the house brand “store.it” at the German drugstore chain. In terms of price, one copy of the camera is in the mid single-digit euro range.

The camera is easy to use, as known from disposable cameras. On the back of the camera is the compact manual. First you have to wind the film, then you can aim at the subject through the simple viewfinder and pull the trigger. The best results are obtained when you are at least 1 meter away from the subject.

The disposable camera does not have any settings. It is made of plastic. The lens, whose aperture cannot be changed, is also made of plastic. The shutter speed and aperture are fixed. Due to the few setting options, the camera is naturally easy to use and can be used by beginners without any problems.

In low light conditions, the built-in flash can be used. This can be activated by a slider. On the back, a light indicates the readiness of the flash. The flash has a maximum range of 3 meters.

Development

Inside the Rossmann disposable camera is a color film for 27 pictures. This is presumably produced by the Japanese company Fujifilm. The color film is designed for development in the C-41 process. This development process is offered by most laboratories. The camera can also be given as a whole at Rossmann directly or also DM-Markt. The development costs, at the drugstore, probably around 5 euros, depending on the number and size of the prints.

Who would like can also get the film itself from the camera. This is possible without further problems, because the film is wound into a cartridge. To do this, remove the cardboard and use a knife or screwdriver to open the flap on the bottom of the plastic camera.
