The Porst dogbag is a 35mm camera. It was sold by the photo dealers from Nuremberg Photo Porst. The target group of the red camera were children. In addition to the camera, the set also included a backpack and a 24mm Porst Color Super 200 color film. The new price in the 90s was around 30 D-Mark.
The plastic camera comes with a fixed focal length. The focus of the lens is fixed. There are no adjustment possibilities. There is a built-in flash for photographing with little light available, this ensures clear shots.
The needed energy for the camera is provided by one AA battery (eBay / Amazon*).
Films for the Porst dogbag
The Porst dogbag needs photo film for taking pictures. Or more precisely 35mm film. 35mm films are still produced today. They can be developed in most photo laboratories. A good choice for color photography is the Agfaphoto Vista 400*. If you want to stay monochrome, the Kodak T-Max 100* is not bad.
