The Porst Autoflex TL is an SLR camera. It was manufactured by Photo Porst and presented in the 60s. The model was also sold under the name “Mamiya Sekor 528 TL”.
The lens of the camera cannot be changed. It bears the designation “Sekor 1:2.8 f = 48mm.” The focal length is 48mm and the maximum aperture is f/2.8. You have to focus the lens manually. The closest focusing distance is specified as 80 cm.
The Porst Autoflex TL has a built-in light meter. The aperture and exposure time can be set automatically by the camera. However, exposure time and aperture can also be freely selected.
There is a bulb mode for long exposures. In this mode, the shutter remains open as desired. This makes it possible to take pictures with the camera at night, for example.

What kind of films are needed for the Porst Autoflex TL? The camera is designed for 35mm films. 35mm films are still offered by various manufacturers. Possible films for the Porst Autoflex TL are the Kodak Gold 200* for color photos and the Kodak T-Max 100* for B&W images.
The color film is developed using the C-41 process. C-41 films are developed by almost all photo labs. The black and white film must be developed in the photochemistry suitable for black and white images. You can also send the film to the lab for development, but better results will be obtained if you develop the film yourself.
You can buy the Porst Autoflex TL only in used condition. The used price of the 35mm camera depends on its condition and functionality.
