The Polaroid One600 Classic Toyota impresses with its easy and simple operation. The most common setting options that you are used to from other types of cameras cannot be found on this model. With this simple entry threshold, the camera can be operated by anyone and is suitable for many occasions. For example, it is a good choice for parties and weddings. It is also a good companion during the holidays.

The lens has a fixed focal length. It is not possible to change the lens. The lens does not have a zoom function. Instead of pressing the zoom button, you have to get closer to the subject for close-ups. One should not approach the subject closer than 90 cm. Otherwise you can’t see much in the pictures at the end.

Does the instant camera have a flash? Yes, the instant camera has a built-in flash. The flash light is activated automatically when taking a picture. Especially in bad light conditions one is often thankful for the flash.

The search for a tripod connection is unsuccessful with this camera. A self-timer has not been integrated. There is also no light/dark controller on this model.

Films for the Polaroid One600 Classic Toyota

The correct photo films are very important for the photo camera. The camera manufacturer, the US company Polaroid, has ended film production. But there is a new edition under the same name by another company.

For the 600 format there are black and white and color films. For color photos with the camera, there is Polaroid Color Film for 600*. You can use the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* to create black and white images. How do the films perform in tests? Both films can convince in many situations.

One box is enough for eight shots. If there is contact with light, outside the camera, the film material becomes unusable. The best possible conditions for storage are found in a dry and dark place.

Since the development of the film format, an image has been 10.8 x 8.8 cm. An area of 7.7 by 7.7 cm is occupied by the captured image. The rest of the Polaroid image is white. Editions with colored frames are also available.

Batteries

What type of battery does the Polaroid instant camera use? The camera’s power source is a battery in the film cassette. The energy is sufficient for all unexposed images in the cassette. Even using the flash with every shot. Changing the film also means changing the battery. There is no need to purchase another battery for the camera.

If the camera has been stored for a long time, e.g. B. in the basement, the battery in the film cassette may have discharged. This means the camera may stop working. The solution to the problem is replacing the old film with new film material with a new battery.

Alternative Options

If you can’t find the camera, you can opt for alternatives. The first alternative is the Polaroid One600 Classic. It has the same range of functions and the same film material is exposed.

You might also want to use it as an alternative to other instant cameras. For example, there are LomoInstant Square* and Instax Wide 300*. The appropriate film material is also still being produced.
