The body of the camera is black and yellow. Above the image output, you can find the imprint “The Construction Camera”.

The Polaroid Jobpro TCC is characterized by its ease of use. If you’re used to a lot of setting options on your camera, you probably won’t find them on this model. Due to the ease of use, there is a low entry threshold and thus versatile uses. For example, it is an excellent choice for parties and weddings. You can also have a lot of fun with it on vacation.

The basic exposure settings cannot be changed. For example, aperture and shutter speed cannot be changed by the user. The camera is equipped with a pre-installed lens. The model does not have a zoom function. The smallest focusing distance is 60 cm. This minimum distance must be maintained for the sharpest possible photos. For this, the close-up lens has to be pushed in front of the actual lens.

A built-in flash is of course also included in this camera. The flash happens automatically when taking a picture. Especially in low light conditions, the flash is one of the most significant functions.

Films for the Polaroid Jobpro TCC

Of course, for the use of the instant camera, the appropriate film stock is also needed. The original film stock from the American company Polaroid is no longer available for purchase. Don’t worry, since 2010 films for the 600 format are offered again.

Black and white and color films for the 600 format are available. The Polaroid Color Film for 600* is the instant film for color photos. Classic black and white images are possible with the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*. How do the films perform in tests? Both instant films can convince in different situations.

Eight photos are possible with one box. Since the film material is light-sensitive, it should not come into contact with light before the actual exposure. The film material should be stored in the dark and dried.

As prescribed in the standard, an image is 10.8 x 8.8 cm. An area of 7.7 by 7.7 cm contains the captured image. The remaining area is filled by a white area. Are white frames too boring? Then there are also editions with colorful frames.

There is no possibility to use the Fujifilm Instax films with the Polaroid Jobpro TCC.

Batteries

What batteries do you need for the instant camera? In this type of camera, the power source is located in the film cassette. It feeds the camera with the necessary energy to take photos. So replacing the film also provides a fresh power source. Another battery is not needed for the camera.

Once the film is at its end, care should be taken to simply throw the film cassette with the battery into the household trash. The battery can be removed from the cassette and then taken to a local recycling center.

You may also want to reach for other cameras from other manufacturers as an alternative. Outside of the Polaroid world, you can find the Instax Mini 90* and LomoInstant Automat*, for example. The films for these instant cameras are sold online by many vendors.
