The Polaroid I-Zone Radio FM is another model in the I-Zone series. After Polaroid crossed an instant camera with a digital camera, they came up with the idea of equipping this camera with a radio, as the name suggests. The concept was not crowned with success, after a short time in production it was already discontinued in the early 00s.
The Polaroid I-Zone Radio FM is quite identical to the Polaroid I-Zone in terms of the technical specifications of the photo part. The lens of the camera is fixed, the focus is fixed and also the exposure time cannot be changed. Depending on the weather conditions, you can select the corresponding weather icon and the camera sets the appropriate aperture. Of course, the built-in flash, powered by AA batteries, can’t be missed either.
The interesting thing about this model is of course the built-in radio receiver. FM stations can be received and there is also an automatic search function. There is no info display and no built-in speaker. To listen to the radio, you use the included headphones. These support stereo, but the camera only provides a mono signal. For comfortable listening on the go, there is an attachment option for the belt.
