Olympus Zuiko Auto Zoom 65-200mm f/4 is a lens from Olympus brand. Japan is the country of manufacture. The lens was designed for the OM system and was introduced to the world public in the mid-1980s.
The lens belongs to the group of zoom lenses, more precisely to the sliding zooms, where you don’t rotate to zoom. The zoom factor is about 3 and the range is from 65 mm to 200 mm. The initial value of 65 mm is a bit unusual, otherwise this value is at 70 mm. The maximum aperture is f/4 throughout.
The focus setting of the lens has to be made manually. If you want the subject to be in focus, you have to keep at least 85 cm away from the subject.
The number of elements of the lens for SLR cameras is 14. These are arranged in 11 groups. A filter with 55 mm thread, e.g. a color filter, can be attached in front of the lens. It should be noted that the filter moves along when focusing. Polarizing filters may therefore have to be adjusted again. The weight of the lens is given as 730 grams.
