Nikon Zoom 800

The Nikon Zoom 800 is a camera from Nikon. It was introduced in 1998 by the traditional Japanese company.

The camera comes with a fixed zoom lens. The focal length of the lens goes from 38 mm to 130 mm. The maximum aperture is f/4.5 at 38 mm and f/9.5 at 130 mm. Focusing of the lens is done by a built-in autofocus system with 7 points. The closest focusing distance for this lens is indicated as 100 cm.

The 35 mm camera has a built-in light meter. The exposure is set automatically by the Nikon Zoom 800. The correct sensitivity is determined by the DX code on the film cartridge. The film speed cannot be set manually.

The colour film is developed in the C-41 process. This development process is offered by most laboratories. The black and white film must be developed in an appropriate developer. Many photo labs also offer this type of development.

The exposure area of the Nikon Zoom 800 has a size of 24 mm x 36 mm. This is the standard size for 35 mm cameras. A picture has an aspect ratio of 2 to 3 and the film is automatically forwarded by the 35 mm camera. Also back into the cartridge, it is automatically wound at the end of the roll by a motor.
