Lomography keeps churning out new products. Now there are new accessories for the Lomokino
About a year ago, the Lomokino was introduced. Now Lomography has presented new accessories for the film camera.
A frequently mentioned problem is securely holding the camera. The Lomokino Handgrip is intended to remedy this. It is attached via the tripod mount on the bottom of the Lomokino. Afterwards, the camera can be held with one hand and cranked with the other. Additional accessories, such as a flash, can still be used.
In addition, an improved version of the Fritz the Blitz was presented. The Fritz the Blitz 2.0 comes with a special setting for the Lomokino, so that each frame receives a flash charge. It also includes a special flash rail for the Baby 110 cameras. As with the normal Fritz the Blitz, the package includes a flash rail and hot shoe adapter for hot shoe cameras, as well as four color filters.
The price for the grip is set at about 15 euros. For the flash, you have to shell out a bit more; in the Lomography online store it costs 59 euros.
Especially the grip makes sense and certainly makes working with the camera easier. Whether the update from the old Fritz the Blitz is worth it, you have to decide for yourself. If you don't have a flash yet, version 2 is certainly a good choice.
