The Lomography Simple-Use Film Camera Challenger Edition is a limited edition disposable camera from Lomography. It was introduced to the public in November 2020.
This edition was created in collaboration with the Streetsyle brand Challenger. The brand was founded by Japanese Satoru Taguchi. The camera comes with a sticker with the brand's logo.
Inside the camera is the Lomography Lomochrome Purple. It mimics the look of color infrared film, but can be developed normally in the C-41 process. The number of images is 36.
The disposable camera comes with a 31 mm plastic lens. The lens is fixed and cannot be focused (1 meter to infinity). The exposure time (1/120 s) and aperture (f/9) cannot be changed either. A built-in flash provides sufficient illumination. Nevertheless, you should not be too far away from the subject. The flash has a charging time of fifteen seconds and is powered by an AA battery. For more creativity, there are three color filters for the flash.
The disposable camera can be developed in a photo lab or in the LomoLab. The color films are developed using the C-41 process. This process is offered by most photo labs. The camera can be delivered to DM and Rossmann for development. Development with prints usually costs less than 5 euros.
The dimensions of the disposable camera are 115 x 60 x 33 mm.
The disposable camera comes with a manual. You probably won't really need the manual. As with all disposable cameras, it is very easy to use. Therefore, the camera is well suited for weddings and parties to capture beautiful moments in memories.
