Godox LT1: Creative RGB Pixel Light for the Hot Shoe Introduced

Accessory manufacturer Godox is expanding its range with an unusual product for the accessory shoe. With the Godox LT1, a small RGB pixel light appears that primarily serves as a glowing hot shoe cover while also offering creative design possibilities for photo setups. If you like to give your camera an individual touch, you get a handy accessory that visually recalls the era of classic pixel graphics.

The housing weighs only about 37 grams and is barely noticeable on the camera. On the front, there is a matrix of colored light-emitting diodes that can display various patterns, symbols, or lettering. Control is either directly on the device or via the associated smartphone app.

Thanks to integrated NFC and Bluetooth, the connection to the smartphone is established within moments. Users can draw their own animations or draw on an existing library of motifs.

Power is supplied by a permanently integrated battery that is charged via a USB-C port. According to the manufacturer, a full charge provides a runtime of just over three hours. This means the device can survive longer photo tours through the city without needing a power outlet right away.
