The Lomo’Instant Song’s Palette is a special edition of the Lomo’Instant. The instant camera for the Instax format was introduced in June 2020.
This edition was created in collaboration with South Korean artist Park Song Lee. The design of the camera is in cream and green. The eye-catcher is the texture in various pastel shades, which are a focal point in the artist’s works.
Functions
The range of functions of the instant camera is congruent with the other editions of the Lomography model. For example, it comes with interchangeable lenses (included depending on the scope of delivery), offers the option for multiple exposures and comes with a Bulb mode for long exposures. A mirror is attached to the front for selfies. A flash is also installed. The flash can also be turned off if desired.
The operation of the camera and flash is ensured by four AAA batteries (eBay / Amazon*). This type of battery is very easy to get and lasts for a sufficient duration. Of course, you can also go directly to rechargeable copies. In this way, you can save money in the long run and do something good for the environment.
Films
In addition, you still need instant films. The Instax Mini instant films from Fujifilm are used, these are not included. The color film for this format is the current_instax_mini_color. One film cassette is enough for ten pictures.
An instant picture is about the size of a credit card. It is in portrait orientation in the camera, so it is good for portraits and selfies. The bottom border around the instant picture is slightly wider, providing space for text or small drawings.
In addition to the color film, there is also the Instax Mini Monochrome* for black and white photos. This is used normally, but provides monochrome images.
