Films for the instant camera
The Lomo’Instant Automat Riviera requires Instax Mini films to take pictures. These are produced by the Japanese company Fujifilm. Instant films are not included with the Lomography instant camera and must be purchased separately. One can conveniently purchase the films for the Lomo’Instant online.
Also not included in the package are the two CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*) needed to take pictures. This type of battery is easy to get online and is relatively inexpensive. One set of CR-2 batteries will last for a good number of pictures. Of course, usage is reduced by using the built-in flash.
For fans of black and white photography, Fujifilm offers the Instax Mini Monochrome*. The color film is also available in various Special Editions (eBay / Amazon*). In a package there is usually a plastic cassette. There are the unexposed pictures. There are a whole ten of them in a film cassette. The price per picture is around 60 cents.
