Design of the camera
The Lomo’Instant Automat Camera Gustav Klimt Edition is a homage to the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, co-founder of the Vienna Secession.
The camera’s design is inspired by Klimt’s works “Water Snakes II” and “The Virgin”, which are known for their intense colors and ornamental patterns. The camera itself is finished in an elegant cream tone, while the lens is surrounded by gold crotch reminiscent of Klimt’s gold leaf work. On the back of the camera there is an excerpt from Klimt’s “The Virgin”, which draws the viewer into a dream world.
Functions of the Lomo’Instant Automat
The Lomo’Instant Automat is an instant camera that is characterized by its fully automatic functions. Aperture, shutter speed and flash are automatically adjusted to achieve optimal results in different lighting situations.
The camera offers creative possibilities with fisheye, wide-angle and close-up lens attachments. Despite its ease of use, it has experimental features such as multiple exposures.
The Lomography camera has a built-in flash and enables remote shutter release. Shutter speed ranges from 1/125 to 8 seconds in automatic mode and up to 30 seconds in long exposure mode.
Films and batteries for your Lomo’Instant Automat Edition
Your Lomo’Instant Automat Klimt Water Serpents II / Maiden uses Instax Mini films from Fujifilm, which you must purchase separately. These are easily available online.
For black and white fans there is the Instax Mini Monochrome* and for color lovers there is various (eBay / Amazon*).
