The La Sardina – St. Tropez Salins is a special edition of the La Sardina, a wide-angle camera for 35mm film. It was introduced in May 2012 as part of Lomography’s La Sardina Beach Edition. The design of the camera is partly made of fabric on which there are colorful stripes in earth and pink tones. It is slightly different on each camera and is unique. The name comes from the French town and a beach near it.
This version of the plastic camera also has the same functions as the other La Sardinas. So, it has a 22 mm wide-angle plastic lens, an MX switch, a tripod socket and a connection for Fritz the flash. The flash is not included, but it comes with lens cap, poster and book.
